Feedback-led
Phased development to collect feedback and shape the final product.
2 platforms
Mobile and web access built around one diagnostic process.
Official pilot
Pilot with schools in a Madrid regional government program.
We helped turn EduNugget’s research-driven concept into a coherent teacher-led diagnostic platform, starting with a focused mobile MVP and expanding it to web around real user feedback.
About Edunugget
EduNugget is an EdTech startup building a standardized diagnostic framework for teachers supporting children entering a new education system.
The concept originated during founder Jaime Delclaux’s UX Design Master’s program and grew out of months of research. Co-designed with teachers from the start, the project went on to win a UX Design Award before evolving into the product being developed today.
The next step was to turn that foundation into a focused, buildable app.

“I wanted the advisory skills of knowledgeable people and experts in their field who could advise me as I went through the different stages (...) and TeaCode really did help me with that.”
Our role: Turn a strong concept into the right product
TeaCode joined as the product and technology partner to challenge the scope and translate the strongest ideas into a realistic MVP. Then, we carried those decisions into mobile, backend and web development.
We refined the core flows and interaction logic before development. This helped validate technical feasibility and clarity while reducing the risk of costly rework later.
Designed the backend architecture and built the mobile app. Later, expanded the ecosystem with new mobile flows and a web application.
Provided product and technical guidance, connecting product priorities with technical feasibility as the mobile and web ecosystem evolved.
Two phases:
Strong evidence-led product
Shape and build
the MVP
We finalized the core flows, defined the MVP, designed the backend architecture and built the mobile application.

Let real users
shape what came next
Real-world feedback made the next priorities clear: refine the mobile experience and add a web application for the same diagnostic process.
Both products were developed as one connected ecosystem.
One process:
assess → understand → act
EduNugget supports a teacher-led diagnostic process across three areas. Teachers guide activities, the app record observations and bring results into a single student profile.
Not every interaction happens on screen. EduNugget provides teachers with structured activities and assessment criteria they can use during direct interactions with a student.

Language proficiency
A basic assessment checks whether the student can understand classroom instruction and helps teachers determine whether they can join a regular classroom.

Academic level
The assessments show which grade-level expectations a student currently meets and highlight areas where additional support may be needed.

Psycho-emotional state
Teacher-guided app interactions that help capture anxiety, emotional readiness, and the student’s sense of safety in a new environment.

A grade-level result,
with competency detail
EduNugget brings assessment results into a single Student Profile, connecting the student’s academic starting point and broader context with a detailed competency breakdown. Research-based recommendations help teachers interpret the findings and plan the next steps.

What’s next
EduNugget has launched an official pilot with schools in the Madrid region that are part of the regional government's welcoming program.
The ambition goes much further: broader adoption by regional governments in Spain and, eventually, a more standardized approach at national and European level.
Madrid → Spain → Europe
