OlfaSystem (by Tigret Sp. z o.o.) specializes in electronic noses - precision sensors that detect volatile chemical compounds to quantify odor intensity. While their hardware was world-class, they lacked the software ecosystem to deliver high-level value to their industrial clients (factories, waste plants, and warehouses).

While the hardware was constantly taking measurements, the data was trapped. There was no way to store historical data in the cloud, making long-term analysis impossible. Facility managers had no real-time alerts for threshold breaches, requiring constant manual checks, and no centralized system existed to manage multiple sites or independent organizations.
OlfaSystem needed to evolve from a hardware vendor into a SaaS partner.

Our strategy focused on maximum development velocity without compromising scientific integrity. We treated the technology stack as a high-speed bridge between raw hardware signals and a market-ready business model.
Instead of a heavy, custom-built infrastructure, we leveraged Supabase for immediate, secure backend services and Next.js for a responsive frontend.
We engineered a custom visualization engine that applies controlled interpolation - creating smooth, readable trends while explicitly flagging real data points and gaps. This ensures the dashboard remains legally and scientifically defensible for industrial audits.
By implementing a strict Multi-tenant architecture from the first line of code, we ensured that OlfaSystem could scale from one factory to a global network of clients. We integrated the Modbus/TCP protocol directly into the cloud flow, ensuring that even as the fleet grows, data isolation and performance remain rock-solid.

We delivered an enterprise-grade IoT management platform that handles everything from raw sensor ingestion to comprehensive data archiving.
The system functions as a 24/7 digital supervisor for industrial sites.
A clean interface built with modern components (Sienna/Shadcn) and optimized for continuous monitoring and enables fast assessment and comparison across multiple facilities and devices. Data is presented through:
Parameter-level line charts
Aggregated safety scores
Real-time status indicators
Wind-Aware Odor Radar
Radar charts that correlate odor intensity with wind conditions, helping differentiate internal emissions from external sources.

Our custom-built engine uses controlled interpolation logic to reconstruct trends across 15-minute intervals. It visually distinguishes between real measurements and data gaps, ensuring the user always understands the reliability of the displayed insights.

The platform’s brain ingests raw data for various compounds (acids, alcohols, etc.) and applies environment-specific weights. It translates these complex chemical readings into a single, actionable Odor Concentration Index (COD). This allows non-technical facility managers to assess site safety in seconds without needing a chemistry degree.

We eliminated manual oversight by automating the Detection-to-Audit pipeline.
Smart Thresholds
Managers define Safe, Warning, and Critical levels.
Instant Response
Exceeding a threshold automatically triggers an incident, notifies the team via email, and records the GPS-stamped event.
Audit Readiness
Every breach is logged as a permanent record, providing the facility with a “paper trail” forfor environmental inspectors and regulators.

The platform supports complex organizational structures. OlfaSystem can manage dozens of different clients, each with isolated access to their own device fleets. It includes:
Role-based permissions and subscription management (Basic vs. Pro), allowing the client to monetize different levels of analytical depth.
Simplified safety indicators via embeddable widgets, enabling external visibility into compliance status without exposing operational systems.

From Hardware to SaaS: Transitioned a hardware-only business into a recurring-revenue software model in under 2 months.
Automated Compliance: Eliminated manual data logging
(0 manual checks); 100% automated cloud data processing.
Architectural Scalability: The system is built to scale from a single pilot site to a global network of sensors without requiring changes to the core infrastructure.
TeaCode provides ongoing maintenance via a retainer model, ensuring its long-term integrity and performance as the IoT fleet grows.
