The client’s goal was to increase user engagement and educate the public while encouraging eco-friendly habits. 

Tribaldata app calculates users' carbon footprint based on lifestyle surveys. It provides personalized feedback and tips to reduce carbon footprint, and engages users with a points-based reward system leading to tangible environmental actions like tree planting. It also features custom branding for media partnerships to enhance credibility and reach.

Our role and involvement

The client faced several challenges, including enhancing their existing mobile application with
a web-based version, implementing custom branding for media partnerships, and educating users about their carbon footprint in an engaging way. 

Our role was to address these challenges by developing the web application from scratch using Next.js. 

We built a responsive web app, looking stunning on every device.

We implemented core functionalities such as:

A carbon footprint calculator 
User Registration
Authentication
Integrated Google Cloud services

The requirements included ensuring a user-friendly interface (to boost engagement), a seamless integration, and maintaining consistency with
the existing mobile application.

The client chose our staff augmentation services

and backend development. 

Results

We expanded functionalities in the mobile app and developed the web application from scratch, addressing each challenge and requirement. We integrated core functionalities like a carbon footprint calculator, user registration,
and authentication. 

By educating users through interactive tools and personalized feedback, we fostered environmental awareness. This initiative
ot only strengthened our client’s digital footprint but also positioned them
as leaders in eco-conscious technology.

White-labeling for partner brand customisation

A standout feature of the Tribaldata app is its white-labeling capability, which allows partners to customize the app’s branding to align with their own identity. This feature was essential for the client’s strategic media partnerships, enabling their partners to tailor the visual elements of the app (such as logos, colors, and themes) to enhance credibility and better connect with their audiences.

We also implemented dynamic download links, making it easy for partners to distribute a fully branded version of the app to their communities instantly. This white-label flexibility significantly broadened the app’s market reach and engagement.

Data storage

Given the personal data involved, ensuring its safety and reliability was a priority. We implemented stringent data security measures, leveraging Google Cloud for secure storage and robust backend solutions. These measures ensured that all user data was safely handled and stored.

and defining project goals.

In the design phase, the emphasis was on creating
an intuitive and engaging user interface (UI). To make the app white-label-ready and to foster strategic media partnerships, we designed the system to allow partners seamlessly adjust the visual aspect of the app to their brands.

Development followed an iterative approach, prioritizing the implementation of core functionalities, including the carbon footprint calculator, user registration, and authentication systems.
